An awesome interview with Dumaji Surve,CEO and Founder of italkcool.com

Hi,friends today we have with Dumaji Surve CEO & Founder of Italkcool. He is a web developer by profession and had an experience of mire than 5 years on this field. So now lets here from him.

Q.1 Tell us something about yourself and your background.
I’m Dumaji Surve from Mumbai. I have done my MBA and started my career in sales. After working for almost 5 years in sales field I switched my career to software testing to hard core IT development.

Q.2 From where you came to know about blogging and when you first got
involved in it?

It is quite a long journey for me, the first time I come to know about blog in the year 2005. This was the first where I have setup a DNN blog for my company. But I never knew that time blogging will be much bigger platform for sharing information through internet.

I had planned to start a blog in 2007 but due to some professional commitments I dropped the plan to become a blogger. I don’t regret my decision of not starting blog during that period of time.
During that time I have also attended a workshop on blogging at Mumbai where professional bloggers would gather for discussion. It was called as blogathon.

I met some top and entry level bloggers that time who are now well known bloggers. I don’t want to disclose their names.

I finally started my blog www.italkcool.com in 2016, because I was fully confident about my writing skills, SEO and digital marketing.

Q.3 What Blogging means to you? Passion, Hobby or Money?

I have been using various platforms in IT companies during by full tenure of career. I want to save that information somewhere, but after I decided I should also share my expertise to newbies, so that it will be helpful to everyone.
I’m passionate about my blogging. But I write my content what users need, I want my content to be viewed and reached large audience. I will be more satisfied if someone learns something from my articles. Money will be always secondary to me.

Every start up blogger has to be passionate about writing for their audience.
Blogging will never be a hobby for me. Because my hobby is travelling and exploring new places. I’m good in planning so I concentrate on my hobbies and passion accordingly.

Q.4 What your blog mainly deal with and what’s the current statistics of
your blog?

I would say my blog niche will be always related to Information technology, web design, travelling, marketing etc. I have not fixed and limited myself to any niches.
But that does not mean I will post anything which does not have any sense. I always want to share useful information to my audience.

Website Statistics: I have just started blogging in January 2016. I get almost 800 unique visitors per day on an average. Some of my blog post got viral so I have touched around 2000 visitors per day.

My best part of blog is I have not yet started monetizing my blogs with loads of affiliate’s banners ads and I won’t do it for next two three years, as I have earlier said I want to build my blog as a good brand.

Q.5 Who is your inspiration or whom you follow as your idol?

My blogging Idol are Harsh Agarwal and Zac Johnson. I don’t want to follow anyone as I want to be known for my brand and not an individual. My goal is to create a brand Italkcool.

Once my brand is famous, automatically I will get famous.

Q.6 Apart from blogging, what are you interested in?

I really like learn more about technologies. So I keep myself updated with latest trends and news.

Q.7 Your favorite quote?

“The only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.”

Q.8 Your biggest achievement/feat since you started blogging?

Yes from some traffic I have got some request for services such as installing wordpress setup with essential plugins, google analytics, wordpress website design.

I have earned around $1200 from my blog without monetizing my blog with adsense or affiliate marketing banner ads.

Q.9 Any Message for beginners, those who are new to this field?

Yes definitely! Every blogger should be clear why they are blogging. If you are checking income reports of famous bloggers and entering the blogging world would be wrong decision

First of all you need to be passionate about blogging and have good writing skills. You can learn SEO easily online with loads of articles available. Write unique and have your own style.

Q.10 And finally any suggestions for the Bloggershark?

I would suggest you to go for genesis framework and design good logo from fiverr at $5. Write at least 2 articles in a week times. Start commenting on famous blogs to get good backlinks.

Quick Ones!!!!
Q.1 Football or Cricket?

Q.2 Harsh or Amit?
Zac Johnson

Q.3 Ronaldo or messi?

Q.4 Favourite actor?
Tom cruise

Q.5 Favourite actress?
Kate Winslet

Q.6 Cars or bike?
I don’t prefer both. I love ships.

Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with?
I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.

seo - September 26, 2016

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
